The Prophets & The Apostles Wrote the Scriptures
Under the Holy Spirit's Guidance

God's Spirit Guides Us Into All Truth

Picture

God never speaks in vain. When He reveals truth—through Scripture, through His Son, or by His Spirit—it is always with a purpose. Isaiah 55:11 assures us that His Word will not return empty but will accomplish what He intends. Whether it brings conviction, comfort, or the call to faith, God's Word is living and active. What He reveals is not random or wasted—it is sent to shape hearts, draw people to Himself, and fulfill His holy purposes in the world and in each of us.

4 Essentials of Godly Training

4 Benefits of Godly Training

Godly training, rooted in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit, produces lasting transformation in the believer. First, truth is believed as doctrine teaches us what is right, grounding us in God’s revealed will. Second, sin is confessed and forgiven, as reproof exposes where we have fallen short, and correction leads us to repentance and grace. Third, the believer matures and becomes skillful in the use of Scripture, gaining wisdom through instruction to live faithfully and glorify God. Finally, as these realities take shape, we are raised up in Christ’s righteousness, no longer relying on our own strength, but walking in the power and grace of the Lord, equipped for every good work.
This training is not a one-time event, but a daily process—nurtured personally throughout the week and corporately as we gather on Sundays in our churches. It strengthens us as we serve the Lord in the ordinary rhythms of life. As we live prayerfully “in Christ,” the Holy Spirit produces in us the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23). These qualities grow gradually over a lifetime, evidence of God's grace shaping us emotionally, spiritually, and in practical ways. They help us respond to everyday challenges with Christlike character. Visible to a watching world, they become a living testimony—like salt and light—as we share the word of faith and hope with others.

The Holy Spirit Sanctifies Us

Maturity In Christ Comes Through The Spirit

As we grow in our relationship with Christ, praying and memorizing scripture with others will help us mature. It will give life to our families, to our vocations, to our churches, and to wherever God leads us. Make room and time for Jesus. He will give you peace with God, his provision, and protection. This world may shake and unsettle you, but it does not have the power to take away the peace we find as we abide in Him. Phil. 4:6-8.

The Spirit Enlivens God's Will in Us

Doing Works of Faith

We are blessed when we do works of faith inspired by God's word. The Holy Spirit empowers us. His strength becomes ours as our yes is truly YES, and our no is truly NO. Rightly applying or using God's word keeps us from giving in to sinful lusts, heresy,  self righteousness, and an empty life. He leads us into doing good, seeing our God overcome evil with good, and into the sweetness of answered prayers for ourselves and others. May we honor Him by being true to our convictions and covenants, to our promises, and to all that we attempt to do to glorify His name.

Being Transformed

Do we reach perfection in this life? In a word, NO. Our lives are refined day by day as we yield to the Holy Spirit. Notice the words "conformed" vs "transformed". The world conforms us by default, but the Spirit transforms us as we present our bodies . Romans 12:1-2 speak of what that change looks like.

Triune Benediction:  Grace, Love, & Fellowship

Be Led By The Spirit

Picture

"So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,  complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.  Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, " Philippians 2:1-5 ESV
