breakthrough
Breakthrough comes at God’s appointed time — when your heart is ready.
For many, it begins with the quiet realization that God is real, that He is in heaven — and that He loves you as a Father. In His grace, He begins to draw you to Himself. But as Jesus explained, the road to that relationship isn’t easy. In a broken and fallen world, many things stand in the way.
At the root of it all is unbelief — the barrier that keeps us from knowing God, receiving Christ, and experiencing what Jesus called the second birth, being born of the Spirit (John 3:3). Unbelief blinds us to both the seriousness of our sin and our need to turn from it. But when the breakthrough comes, it brings light, conviction, and an invitation to new life.

As Augustine wisely said:
“Take care of your body as if you were going to live forever;
and take care of your soul as if you were going to die tomorrow.”
